The pets of the month for March are Winnie and Millie, this year’s auction dogs. The action dogs were born in December of 2018 this school year.

Winnie, a mini golden doodle, loves to play and join in on the fun. She is from Sievers Retrievers which is AKC certified purebred.

Auction Manager Julie Meersman describes the delightful pup as, “Fun, cuddly, and covered with soft apricot fur.”

Millie, an adorable Malshi, which is a Maltese and Shish Tzu mix. She is hypo-allergenic, which means she is safe for people who have allergies.

“I love playing and petting Millie she is so soft and so cute,” sophomore Mary Clare Krippene said. Malshis are known for their gentle manner, playfulness, and affection. She comes from the JAC Kennels which is located in Montgomery County, Mo.

The auction puppy, Millie, was sold to the Rebello Family, who currently have a junior that attends St. Joe. The other guest that adopted Winnie, the golden doodle, is not currently active SJA community.  The St. Joe community wished these pups and their owners’ luck for great memories to be made!
