Spring Break Packing List

Spring Break is right around the corner, and many St. Joe girls are deciding to not leave their packing until the last minute this year. Below is a categorized list of what many girls believe are necessary on a beach (or any) vacation:
BEACH BAG
- Cell phone
- ID (Driver’s License or passport)
- Sunglasses
- Medications
- Gum
- Wallet
- Snacks
- Reusable water bottle
- Headphones/Earbuds
Junior Emma Smith is going to Destin, Florida this year.
“I love listening to music when I’m on the beach so earbuds are definitely a must-have for me,” she said.
TOILETRIES
- Sunscreen
- Shampoo, conditioner, and soap
- Dry shampoo
- Face wash
- Deodorant
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Razor and shaving cream
- Hairbrush
- Hairstyling tools (i.e. hairdryer and curling iron)
- Hair ties
- Makeup
- Tweezers
- A mini first aid kit
- Feminine hygiene products
CLOTHES
- Swimsuits
- Tank tops and/or tees
- Nicer ops
- Sweatshirt or sweater
- Nicer bottoms
- Shorts
- Your favorite pair of jeans
- Cover-ups or casual dresses to throw on over your swimsuit
- Nicer dresses for going out
- Sandals
- Flip-flops
- Wedges
- Sneakers and socks

Freshman Lydia Wiley loves dressing up on vacation. She cautions against forgetting details.
“It’s the worst when you forget to pack jewelry for a trip. I really think it makes an outfit and I always need a reminder when packing,” she said.
MISCELLANEOUS
- Beach towel
- Disposable camera
- Chargers (portable phone charger)
- A good beach read
- Beach hat large enough to shield you from the sun
- Mini emergency/first aid kit
- Zip-lock bag or waterproof pouch for your wet swimsuit
A packing list can be very individualized, but this is a good place to start. Wherever you are going this spring break, make sure you take all of the essentials.
