Golf season was very successful for the St. Joseph’s Academy Golf team. The team was undefeated the whole season, dominating the courses. It was not easy to say the least as they made their way to earn another state title, making it six in a row. The team is made up of eight girls: seniors Izzy Arro, Mia Rallo, Ellie Davenport, and Annie Marquitez, junior Rylie Andrews and Bella Meyer, sophomore Bella Buckley, and freshman KC Lenox.

Senior Izzy Arro displayed her skills throughout the season by helping the team win the state championship. She has been on the varsity team for four years.

“Overall, I have made some of the best memories these past four year. Being a member of a team that has won six consecutive state championships will forever be a memory I hold on to,” she said.

Izzy has been able to develop her skills not only in the sport, but outside of the sport as well.

“From this experience I have learned how to develop team and leadership skills that will help me throughout life. I am so thankful for the opportunities and experiences provided by being a part of this amazing SJA team,” she said.

Senior Mia Rallo has been beside Izzy all four years. She has dominated this sport as she helped the team earn the state championship title as well.

“Winning the sixth state championship title means a lot to me because the team and I work so hard each and every day and the feeling of accomplishing big goals is an unreal feeling. I am very happy that we won because it just put a great ending to my final season at St. Joe,” Mia said.

In addition, the team also had another contributing senior that made an impact on the team as well: senior Ellie Davenport.

“The thing I like the most about the golf season is seeing how hard everyone works throughout the season leading up to state. This season, it was amazing to see all of our hard work pay off as we were able to win our sixth consecutive state title,” Ellie said.

All in all, it was a very successful season for the SJA golf team, as they won their sixth consecutive state championship.
