As our Mission Week sadly ended, a dance was the perfect finale. The Mission Week Dance (aka MissBash) was a way to celebrate all our service to the community and, of course, all the money the St. Joe community made for the Sisters in Peru. It was the perfect way to end a week of helping the dear neighbor, coming together with others, and, most importantly, having a blast. A sophomore at St. Joe, Maya Twenter, attended MissBash and experienced this exciting event.
“It was a really fun event at the end of the week, a perfect way to mark the end of Mission Week and the beginning of Thanksgiving break. I loved having my friend from another school experience it with me. Dances are some of my favorite events because they give everyone something to look forward to,” Maya said.
Dances are such a fantastic way to bring everyone together and celebrate. They give us all a chance to unwind and have fun after a busy week. Dances create joy and a sense of community, allowing us to connect beyond just the classroom. These traditions make school life special, creating beautiful memories and giving us all more reasons to feel excited about being part of our institution. Maya Twenter’s guest Nadia Woodman, a sophomore, had a blast exploring St. Joe’s aura.
“The dance was really fun, and I enjoyed meeting Maya’s friends and seeing where she goes every day,” Nadia said.
Dances are always special because they’re more than just a party; they unite people. Not only do they strengthen the bond within the school community, but they also create opportunities for guests to feel included and connected. Meeting new people, getting to know your friends better, and sharing fun moments in such a relaxed and lively atmosphere make these events unforgettable. Dances build relationships and create memories that stick with you after the night.
